The Truth About The New Shared Light | Quad Cities Wedding and Family Photographer

I think I've designed 5 full websites for Shared Light over the last 5 years that I've been in business. It's never easy, but it's always worth it. Here I am again with a new website! I personally think it's the best one yet. I always struggle with words- are there too many? Not enough? Is the wording off? I think I maybe hit a nice balance with this one. 

In an industry (and societal atmosphere) where images are everything, I'm never sure if I'm using them correctly. Don't get me wrong, I 100% believe in my work and when I deliver to a client, I am fully confident that they will LOVE what they see. It's that whole owner-operator-designer-marketer aspect that always throws me off. Let's be honest, I have a degree in theatre and only took design classes that were directly related to the stage. Sure, I took a lot of art classes, but nothing based in graphic design. Man, trying to DIY it can be a LOT of trial and error. Which is why I've built 5 full websites in as many years.

I have my fingers crossed that I'll be with this one for a while. Until I have enough money saved up to hire a real graphic designer. I have just the lady in mind, too! I shot her wedding a few years back and can't wait until I can work with her again...this time utilizing her services! Can't wait until I can afford her talent!

So, here I am. New site. New blog. Ready to head into 2017!
