Kershaw Family's Summer Session

I will admit that I’ve had a ton of fun playing in the snow this winter, but today I was feeling the need for some green. This is maybe the greenest session I shot last year so I figured these it would be a good one to share!

The thing I love to photograph most is a personality. Not just smiles and an outfit. I love when a kid gets a little goofy- that means they are comfortable enough with me to just be themselves! These three sisters gave me nothing but personality! So much, actually, that I way overshot the session and cringed a little overtime I had to choose between photos while culling. And even putting this blog together was tough- I mean, just look at them! As soon as I gave direction like ‘tickle dad’ or asked ‘whose farts are stinkiest’, the smiles got goofy, the eyes got bright and the giggles came out!
